Santa Pau è un comune spagnolo della provincia di Gerona, situato nella comarca de La Garrocha, in Catalogna.
Si trova nel cuore del Parco Naturale della Zona Vulcanica della Garrocha, tra i comuni di Olot e Mieras, caratterizzato da un terreno accidentato per i coni vulcanici del Croscat, Roca Negra e Santa Margarita e per le serte di Finestres, el Corb e Sant Juliá del Mont.
