La Fageda d'en Jordà è una riserva naturale che comprende un bosco di faggi con caratteristiche uniche in Spagna, poiché cresce su un terreno relativamente pianeggiante, formato da una colata di lava raffreddata proveniente dal vulcano del Croscat, a un'altitudine che non è comune nella penisola iberica per questo tipo di alberi, tra 550 e 650 m. Ha un'estensione di circa 4,8 km² ed è piena di prominenze tipiche della lava che possono raggiungere oltre 20 m di altezza, con il nome locale di tossols.
