La Battaglia di Valencia si svolse tra il 24 giugno e il 26 giugno 1808 durante la Guerra di Indipendenza spagnola. L'esercito imperiale francese sotto la guida di Bon Adrien Jeannot de Moncey lanciò un attacco sulla città spagnola di Valencia.
Nella estate del 1808 molte regioni spagnole si ribellarono contro l'occupazione francese. Napoleone, però, riteneva di avere a che fare con diverse piccole insurrezioni. Per questo motivo inviò diversi reggimenti nel Paese per ripristinare la calma. Il maresciallo Moncey fu incaricato di riportare la città di Valencia sotto il controllo francese. La resistenza che Moncey avrebbe incontrato si rivelò molto più grande di quanto inizialmente pensasse. La giunta valenciana aveva mobilitato 7.000 uomini per difendere la città.
