Turretot è un comune francese di 1.487 abitanti situato nel dipartimento della Senna Marittima nella regione della Normandia.Le origini del nome di Turretot risalgono al tempo dei Vichinghi. Nel 1222 se ne trova la trascrizione Toretot.Questo nome è composto da due parti: Turre derivante da Thorir che si forma sul nome del dio Thor, personificazione del fulmine e del tuono nella mitologia norrena. Tot deriva dal norreno toft che originariamente designava una tenuta o un podere. Turretot significa quindi "il territorio di Thorir".
