Montélimar è un comune francese di 36.872 abitanti situato nel dipartimento della Drôme della regione dell'Alvernia-Rodano-Alpi. È famosa in Francia per il nougat, un torrone bianco e la coltivazione su larga scala di lavanda.
Montélimar è situata nella media valle del Rodano alla confluenza dei fiumi Jabron e Roubion sui promontori di Géry e di Narbonne da dove si controlla tutta la Valle del Rodano.
