La chiesa di Notre-Dame la Grande di Poitiers, è una collegiata e parrocchiale costruita in stile romanico. La chiesa è classificata come Monumento storico dal 1840.La sua facciata è considerata uno dei capolavori della scultura romanica francese.Il quartiere era già popolato in epoca romana. Le antiche vestigia di una costruzione in mattoni e pietra rettangolare possono essere situate vicino alla grondaia sulla parete nord della chiesa attuale.
