A Monflanquin, una delle più belle bastides (città fortificate) del sud-ovest della Francia, sopra l'ufficio turistico, scoprite il Musée des Bastides, un centro di interpretazione del patrimonio dedicato al fenomeno delle nuove città del Medioevo apparse nel sud-ovest della Francia tra il XIII e il XIV secolo.
Pannelli esplicativi, modelli, sussidi didattici e un percorso ludico per le famiglie vi faranno scoprire la modernità di queste nuove città con i loro piani a scacchiera e le carte dei costumi che introdussero un nuovo modo di organizzare la società medievale. Per i gruppi è possibile prenotare in anticipo una visita guidata al museo.
Il museo propone anche un gioco di fuga sul tema della città bastide di Monflanquin, disponibile solo su prenotazione (contattateci per conoscere gli orari di apertura e le fasce orarie disponibili)
