Sulla spiaggia di La Piste si trovano esemplari massicci e storici, le blockhouse! Le onde sono potenti e veloci, riservate a surfisti esperti. Attira soprattutto la gente del posto, poiché il suo accesso, per quanto nascosto, attira poche persone. È ideale per i vacanzieri in cerca di pace e tranquillità.
In luglio e agosto, le acque di balneazione vengono controllate quotidianamente. Otto bagnini civili sorvegliano la spiaggia a sud della città, esposta alle onde. Le scuole di surf lo trovano un buon posto per le loro attività. Tuttavia, nelle immediate vicinanze dei blocchi sono vietati il nuoto e gli sport acquatici e il parapendio.
