Questo giardino formale, creato di fronte al castello, si basa sulla divisione in quattro quadrati riportata su una pianta del XVII secolo. Qui ogni dettaglio è stato pensato e realizzato con precisione. Persino la ghiaia è dello stesso colore della grande facciata Luigi XIII in mattoni e pietra.
Armonia, perfezione, purezza di stile: il parco di Barberey-Saint-Sulpice è ancora più bello se visto dalle sale di ricevimento.
Ammirevolmente e pazientemente restaurato dal 1964, nel 1999 ha ricevuto il prestigioso marchio di "pubblica utilità" dal Comité des Parcs et Jardins de France.
Aperto per il Rendez-vous aux Jardins, le Journées du Patrimoine de Pays e le Giornate europee del patrimonio. Visite l'1, 2 e 3 giugno. 15 e 16 settembre e tutti i giorni dal 1° agosto al 15 settembre, dalle 10.00 alle 12.00 e dalle 14.00 alle 18.00. Visite al di fuori di questo periodo per gruppi su richiesta scritta. Visite solo agli esterni.
