Una delle passeggiate più popolari della regione di Beauvaisis! E a ragione... lo scenario è selvaggio, con vista sulle valli del Thérain e dell'Oise fino alla grande foresta di Hez-Froidmont. Il Mont César si erge a 138 metri di altezza. Dall'ingresso del sito, si sale la scalinata che conduce al sito dopo una salita di 80 metri. Si entra in un'area un tempo utilizzata come oppidum gallo-romano, da cui il nome Mont César.
Lungo i bordi boscosi, i vasti prati pullulano di specie animali e vegetali rare, adattate alla vita in questi ambienti calcarei e sabbiosi: piante aromatiche e numerose specie di orchidee selvatiche attirano farfalle e insetti.
Il sito è gestito dal Conservatoire d'espaces naturels des Hauts-de-France.
