Questo era il sobborgo dei viticoltori e dei contadini di Mirecourt, e quasi tutte le case hanno grandi ingressi di cantina sul lato della strada, attraverso i quali venivano portate le uve e prelevate le botti. Sulla facciata del n. 23 si trova una statua del santo con un grappolo d'uva lasciato al momento della vendemmia. Le facciate della maggior parte delle case sono state ricostruite nel XVIII secolo, ma molte presentano splendidi soffitti francesi datati al Rinascimento. Purtroppo, alcune case sono abbandonate e si deteriorano molto rapidamente. In cima al faubourg fu costruita una grande casa per ospitare giovani liutai. Poco più avanti si incontra la cappella dell'Oultre.
