Les gargalhous, il termine occitano che indica il frutto della rosa canina, è un nome appropriato per questo giardino, che presenta una collezione di rose antiche, rose botaniche e alcune moderne. Il giardino è concepito come una tela impressionista, dove l'armonia dei colori e delle forme è essenziale. Le rose sono accompagnate da piante perenni e arbusti rari, oltre che da bulbi da aprile a ottobre.
