Il museo del ricamo di Fontenoy-le-Château testimonia l'eccezionale abilità delle sue ricamatrici, rimaste completamente anonime. Per quasi 150 anni, migliaia di donne, per lo più provenienti da famiglie di metallurgici, hanno lavorato per adornare le signore dell'alta società internazionale. In questo museo unico, oltre a pezzi rari, si può ammirare la mostra 2026 "Au fil des lettres", per scoprire la ricchezza di numeri e monogrammi su corredi e fazzoletti.
