Scoprite la vita dell'uomo nel Lussacois durante il Paleolitico attraverso il suo ambiente, il suo modo di vivere, le sue abilità tecniche e artistiche.
Vengono proposte cinque aree museografiche: gli scopritori e le scoperte archeologiche, l'ambiente dell'uomo nel Paleolitico, le tracce dell'uomo nel Lussacois, la vita degli uomini di Bois-Ragot, l'uomo e l'arte.
Vengono evidenziati utensili, armi e oggetti d'arte incisi su ossa e calcare. Le pietre incise di animali e soprattutto di uomini scoperte nella grotta delle Marche, occupata durante il periodo maddaleniano, sono opere originali e notevoli.
