Come l'erosione dà forma al mondo, mi piace prendermi il tempo per dare vita alle mie sculture. Mi piace particolarmente la forma e lavoro molto d'istinto: cerco l'unità e l'armonia tra curve, volumi, vuoti, ombre, ritmi e tensioni, fino a trovare l'emozione.
È esplorando che trovo ciò che cerco? Il corpo e la natura sono le mie principali fonti di ispirazione.
Dopo diversi anni di pratica artistica, nel 2005 ho scoperto la scultura in legno.
Per 4 anni ho partecipato a corsi di scultura su legno con k. Sansom. Ho capito subito che è qui che sento di esistere, di fronte alla presenza, alla ruvidità e alla sfida della scultura diretta.
Sono rimasta affascinata da scultori come Henry Moore, Wang Keping, Barbara Hepworth, Parvine Curie, Aristide Maillol, Georg Baselitz...
