Il Quai Gambetta si estende dai giardini Nausicaa fino al mercato del pesce.
Passeggiate nel mercato ittico giornaliero di Boulogne-sur-Mer (diverse bancarelle del pesce, chiamate aubettes , sul Quai Gambetta nel porto) per acquistare pesce fresco e frutti di mare.
Domenica mattina dalle 8 alle 12.30, di fronte alle bancarelle del pesce sul Quai Gambetta: mercato alimentare , brevi visite guidate e prodotti locali.
La città di Boulogne-sur-Mer fu danneggiata all'85% alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale e fu ricostruita da Pierre Vivien. Simboli della ricostruzione sono le torri "Les Buildings" sul Quai Gamnetta che si affacciano sul porto delle maree e sono alte quasi 40 metri. Disposte in diagonale su un terreno stretto e allungato, sono orientate verso il canale, come vetrina della nuova città. Ogni edificio è costruito su una struttura in cemento armato di 48 pali e ha 12 piani, tra cui 9 appartamenti, formando un totale di circa 200 unità residenziali.
