La Grotta di Alepotrypa è un sito archeologico nella regione del Mani della penisola del Peloponneso. Oltre ad essere abitato da antichi agricoltori, questo sito era utilizzato per scopi funerari e cultuali. Le evidenze archeologiche hanno rivelato che questo è uno dei più grandi siti funerari neolitici mai trovati in Europa. Due scheletri umani adulti sono stati trovati nel sito risalenti a una sepoltura del 4° millennio a.C., così come resti di almeno 170 persone separate. Gli archeologi non sono certi del significato di un ossuario miceneo, che è stato datato al 2° millennio a.C. e sembra essere stato ri-sepolto ad Alepotrypa. Anche se non ci sono evidenze dirette, è possibile che l'ossuario possa collegare Alepotrypa a Tainaron, che era considerato l'ingresso agli Inferi nella mitologia classica.
