La sezione del sentiero del canyon tra il ponte e la piccola cappella è senza dubbio uno dei sentieri escursionistici più belli della regione. Il percorso è indicato con frecce rosse. E qui si entra letteralmente nei passi del passato. È questo sentiero che era un 'uscita' verso la sicurezza per gli abitanti di Ermioni. E il concetto di "uscita" è ciò che Katafyki, il nome della gola, significa. Questo sentiero originale conduce verso Epidauro, Kazarma, Tirinto e Micene. Era anche il luogo dove molti abitanti di Ermioni si nascondevano dagli attacchi brutali di turchi e pirati nel passato.
