San Mauro Torinese è un comune italiano di 18.922 abitanti della città metropolitana di Torino, in Piemonte, conurbato nell'area metropolitana torinese.
Il comune si trova tra le pendici settentrionali della collina torinese nel tratto dominato dalla Basilica di Superga, e la riva destra del fiume Po, lungo l'antica strada che un tempo collegava la Porta Praetoria di Torino e la romana Industria con Valenza e Casale Monferrato.
