Terlago è una frazione di 2 014 abitanti del comune italiano di Vallelaghi in provincia di Trento, ubicato nella Valle dei Laghi.
È stato sede di comune autonomo fino al 1º gennaio 2016, data in cui si è fuso con Padergnone e Vezzano per formare il nuovo comune di Vallelaghi.
Il toponimo Terlago deriva dal latino inter e lacus , ovvero "tra i laghi", ed è quindi riferito alle ampie zone lacustri che in origine circondavano l'abitato. Un'altra ipotesi, meno attendibile, deriva il nome da Trilacus, ovvero "Tre Laghi" riferendosi a tre specchi lacustri che caratterizzano il territorio comunale, il Lago di Terlago, il Lago Santo e il Lago di Lamar. Il toponimo è attestato per la prima volta nel 1124 , nel 1190 e nel 1242 .
Lo stemma ufficiale del Comune fa riferimento alla seconda ipotesi, infatti rappresenta tre canoe sovrapposte.
