Dobbiaco è un comune italiano di 3 351 abitanti della provincia autonoma di Bolzano in Trentino-Alto Adige; è un "comune delle Tre Cime", assieme ai comuni di Auronzo di Cadore, Sesto, San Candido. Fino al termine della prima guerra mondiale le autorità militari italiane si riferivano al paese con il nome di Toblacco, anche se il toponimo Dobbiaco era già in uso da tempo. In precedenza era conosciuto anche come Doblaco e Tobiano.
