Macomer è un comune italiano di 9 371 abitanti della provincia di Nuoro, situato a 563 metri sul livello del mare, alle pendici della catena del Marghine, di cui è il centro principale, arroccata sulle rive del rio S'Adde. Insignito del titolo di città, è inoltre il capoluogo dell'unione dei comuni del Marghine.
