Priverno è un comune italiano di 13 658 abitanti della provincia di Latina nel Lazio. Fino al 1927 ebbe il nome di Piperno.
La città di Priverno, al centro della valle dell'Amaseno, sorge su un'area di modeste alture, facente parte del sistema collinare dei Monti Seiani pur risultando isolata rispetto a questi per la presenza, a Sud-ovest dell'abitato, di una profonda e incassata vallata chiamata "Valle Cagnana" che divide l'area urbana vera e propria dal Monte San Davino, il colle dei Seiani più prossimo alla città.
