Guardia Sanframondi è un comune italiano di 4 599 abitanti della provincia di Benevento in Campania.
Dal XII secolo al 1806 ha fatto parte della contea di Cerreto Sannita che è stata retta prima dalla famiglia Sanframondo e poi, a partire dal XV secolo, dalla famiglia Carafa. Il suo nome deriva proprio dalla famiglia Sanframondo che la dotò di un possente castello a guardia della Valle Titernina, teatro di almeno due assedi nel corso del Quattrocento.
