Bagno a Ripoli è un comune italiano di 25 243 abitanti della città metropolitana di Firenze in Toscana.
Bagno a Ripoli copre una superficie di circa 74 km² e si estende a est di Firenze su terreni pianeggianti per circa un terzo della sua superficie e per la restante parte su terreni collinari. Occupa da una parte la zona del Valdarno Superiore mentre dall'altra una parte del Chianti. Se si esclude l'Arno e lo spartiacque Valdarno Superiore-conca fiorentina, i suoi confini non coincidono con elementi fisici quali corsi d'acqua, strade, valichi. L'ultima modifica ai confini del territorio ripolese risale al 1928
