Ostuni è un comune italiano di 30 099 abitanti della provincia di Brindisi in Puglia, e un noto centro turistico.
Ostuni sorge su tre colli ad un'altezza di 218 metri s.l.m.. È situato a 7,5 km dalla costa adriatica. La Murgia, sui quali colli sud orientali si trova la città, è una zona carsica costituita essenzialmente da calcari cretacei. È perciò una zona piuttosto arida e priva di corsi d'acqua: al loro posto le cosiddette "lame", letti torrentizi a carattere stagionale, dai solchi poco profondi e dalle pareti ripide. Altra caratteristica geologica del territorio sono le "gravine", dei burroni carsici.
