Varese Ligure è un comune italiano di 1 788 abitanti della provincia della Spezia in Liguria. Il territorio comunale è il maggiore della provincia spezzina, rappresentandone oltre il 15% del territorio complessivo, e il secondo, dopo Genova, dell'intera regione.
Varese Ligure è il comune più settentrionale della provincia della Spezia, confinante sia con la città metropolitana di Genova che con la provincia di Parma, situato in alta val di Vara alla confluenza del torrente Crovana nel fiume Vara.
