Fiat Powertrain Technologies è stata una società dell'allora Fiat Group e dal 1º gennaio 2011 è la divisione che raggruppa tutte le attività relative ai motopropulsori ed alle trasmissioni di Fiat Chrysler Automobiles , Centro Ricerche Fiat ed Elasis.
La società è stata costituita nel marzo del 2005, a seguito dello scioglimento della precedente joint-venture con General Motors, attraverso la fusione delle attività motoristiche automobilistiche e industriali dell'allora Gruppo Fiat.
