La Valtellina è una regione geografica alpina, corrispondente al bacino idrico del fiume Adda a monte del lago di Como, nella regione Lombardia. L'intera valle e la Valchiavenna formano insieme la Provincia di Sondrio. La valle raggiunge con la Punta Perrucchetti, alta 4 020 metri e appartenente al Massiccio del Bernina, la massima altitudine della regione.
