La battaglia del Trasimeno è stato uno degli scontri bellici maggiori della seconda guerra punica, e fu combattuta il mattino del 21 giugno 217 a.C. presso le sponde nord-occidentali del Lago Trasimeno tra l'esercito romano, guidato dal console Gaio Flaminio Nepote, e quello cartaginese al cui comando era Annibale Barca.
