Il cimitero monumentale di Poggioreale è il principale cimitero della città di Napoli e tra i maggiori in Europa.
Propriamente, il cimitero di Poggioreale è quello che si estende nel quadrilatero delimitato a nord-ovest da largo Santa Maria del Pianto e via del Riposo, a est da via Santa Maria del Pianto e a sud da via nuova Poggioreale, ma vista l'abbondanza di cimiteri attigui a quello di Poggioreale, tale definizione è stata allargata all'intera zona, creando una vera e propria conurbazione cimiteriale, che ricade nei quartieri di Poggioreale, Secondigliano e San Carlo all'Arena.
