La diocesi di Aversa è una sede della Chiesa cattolica in Italia suffraganea dell'arcidiocesi di Napoli appartenente alla regione ecclesiastica Campania. Nel 2015 contava 543.260 battezzati su 567.566 abitanti. È retta dal vescovo Angelo Spinillo.
Confina con la diocesi di Pozzuoli a sud ovest, con l'arcidiocesi di Napoli a sud, con la diocesi di Acerra a est, con l'arcidiocesi di Capua a nord ovest e la diocesi di Caserta a nord est.
