L'Istituto scientifico universitario San Raffaele, meglio conosciuto con il nome di ospedale San Raffaele , è una struttura ospedaliera che sorge a cavallo dei comuni di Segrate e Milano. Fino al 10 maggio 2012 era di proprietà della Fondazione Centro San Raffaele del Monte Tabor. Dall'11 maggio 2012 le attività sanitarie e di ricerca che facevano capo alla Fondazione sono state trasferite alla "Ospedale San Raffaele s.r.l.", controllata da Velca S.p.A. L'ospedale, accreditato nel 1999 come istituto di ricovero e cura a carattere scientifico , fu fondato nel 1969 da don Luigi Maria Verzé, che ne è stato presidente fino al luglio 2011. Da maggio 2012 è diventato parte del Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato.
