Il Naardermeer è un'area naturale protetta nella zona del Gooi, situata tra Muiderberg, Naarden, Bussum e Weesp. È una zona di laghi con canneti, prati di fieno e boschi paludosi. Ospita molte piante e animali delle zone umide, tra cui specie uniche come le cormorani. È stata la prima area acquistata dall'associazione Natuurmonumenten dopo la sua fondazione nel 1906 per essere protetta. L'area è accessibile solo in modo limitato ai visitatori; ci sono anche passeggiate e gite in barca organizzate.
