L'altezza è di 25 metri. Il cacciatore Gerrit Jansz. Otter costruì nel 1882 una casa dietro all'albero. Le radici del frassino hanno sollevato nel corso degli anni un grosso monticello attorno alla casa. Il tutto è conosciuto dalla gente come “la Montagna di Frassini”.
