Duizel è un comune che fa parte del comune di Eersel, nella provincia del Brabante Settentrionale e si trova nella regione dei Kempen.
Il diritto di patronato della parrocchia apparteneva sin dai tempi antichi al Capitolo di Bartolomeo a Liegi. Dalla fine del XVII secolo passò all'Abbazia di Tongerlo. Dal 1648 al 1827 la parrocchia fu servita dall'Abbazia di Postel.
