Buurmalsen è un villaggio nei comuni di West Betuwe e Buren nella provincia olandese di Gelderland. Il 1° gennaio 2021 Buurmalsen contava un totale di 1.170 abitanti. Buurmalsen si trova a circa 1 chilometro a nord di Geldermalsen. Buurmalsen era originariamente parte della signoria di Buren, a differenza dell'altro Malsen, che era proprietà di Gelder. Buurmalsen costituiva insieme a Tricht una propria corte comunale. Il 1° gennaio 1812 fu unito al comune di Geldermalsen per poi riacquistare l'autonomia il 1° gennaio 1818. Il 1° gennaio 1978 il comune fu abolito. La maggior parte del comune divenne parte del comune di Geldermalsen, che il 1° gennaio 2019 tornò a far parte del comune di West Betuwe. Una piccola parte, quella a est della linea Rijksstraatweg - Nieuwe Steeg - Bulksteeg, divenne parte del comune di Buren.
