Schipborg è un luogo nel nord-ovest del comune di Aa e Hunze, nella provincia olandese di Drenthe. Inizialmente il luogo si chiamava Borck, ma dalla metà del XVII secolo ha assunto il nome attuale.
Schipborg si trova a sud del quartiere Westlaren di Zuidlaren, a est di Zeegse, a nord di Anloo e a ovest dei quartieri di Schuilingsoord e Zuides di Zuidlaren. Il villaggio si trova al bordo orientale del paesaggio della valle fluviale della Drentsche Aa. Il caffè omonimo, lungo il quale passa il Pieterpad, si trova ai margini di Schipborg. Molti escursionisti, ma anche ciclisti, conoscono il terrazzo con vista sulla valle fluviale della Drentsche Aa, che qui si chiama Schipborgschediep. A sud del villaggio, verso Anloo, si trova il Kymmelsberg, una collina di sabbia mobile.
