Le Galderse Meren è un'area di laghi ricreativi a sud di Breda. Tra i due laghi corre l'A58. Il lago più grande si trova a sud dell'autostrada ed è il più antico. L'area prende nome dal vicino villaggio di Galder.
I laghi si sono formati all'inizio degli anni '70 a causa dell'estrazione di sabbia per la costruzione dell'autostrada A16/E19 da Breda ad Anversa. Negli anni '80 è stata estratta ulteriore sabbia per il tratto dell'A58 tra il nodo di Sint Annabosch e il nodo di Galder. Nel lago a nord è stata estratta sabbia per la costruzione residenziale a Breda Nord. L'ultima estrazione di sabbia è avvenuta nel 1995.
