La Cappella di Maria alla Posthoorn non è sempre stata lì. La cappella è stata costruita dopo la liberazione dal quartiere Moleneind in segno di gratitudine a Maria. Il luogo originale era all'angolo tra Galgestraat e Moleneind. Proprio come nella Cappella di Giuseppe, è stata murata una bottiglia con un atto. L'artista Niel Steenbergen ha realizzato una replica della statua di Maria nella Cappella di Sint Joost a Breda. Nel muro laterale si trovano due pietre commemorative, una delle quali ricorda Wouterus de Leeuw, nato a Teteringen nel 1925 e morto a 21 anni a Java. Con la costruzione della tangenziale nord alla fine degli anni '60, la Cappella di Maria ha dovuto fare spazio a una pista ciclabile. La cappella è stata quindi spostata per intero dall'altra parte della strada. Anche questo monumento ha subito atti di vandalismo. La statua di Maria è stata sostituita e la vetrata è stata restaurata.
