De betonnen passerelle van Expo 58 was zo hoog dat de gondels van de kabelbaan eronderdoor gingen. En ze was zo breed dat ze werd aangekleed door tuinarchitecten als RenÚ PechÞre. Het zestig meter lange gevaarte overspande het dal tussen de twee groene zones van het Expo-terrein, het Park van Laken en het Ossegempark. Na een goede tien jaar werden de onderhoudskosten te hoog en werd de brug gesloopt. Vandaag zijn enkel nog begin en einde aanwezig. Zo kan men in het Ossegempark de brug met de authentieke tarmac, kiezeltegels en balustrades nog op wandelen.
