Blieberg is een plaats en gemeente in het Waalse gewest, in de provincie Luik, arrondissement Verviers, in België. De gemeente telt ruim 10.000 inwoners. De gemeente is Franstalig met slapende faciliteiten voor Nederlandstaligen en vrijwillige faciliteiten voor Duitstaligen.
De naam Blieberg/Plombières komt van de winning van looderts. Dit vond in de middeleeuwen plaats op de Braesberg en vervolgens iets zuidelijker bij de Mijnzetel van Blieberg.
