Brouwerij Slaghmuylder is een uniek familiebedrijf dat voortbouwend op een rijke traditie vooruit kijkt naar de toekomst. De brouwerij Slaghmuylder werd opgericht in 1860 door Emmanuel Slaghmuylder, die tot dan graanhandelaar was. Het laatste deel van de naam "muylder" duidt namelijk op molenaar.
