De 'Vorte bossen' is een bosgebied van bijna 50ha groot. Het natuurreservaat bestaat uit een verscheidenheid aan bostypes. Verder kan je er heel wat belangrijke broedvogelsoorten gewaarworden zoals de specht, buizerd en sperwer. Wandelaars zijn hier ook steeds hartelijk welkom. In het noordelijk deel van het reservaat zijn een aantal dreven opengesteld voor het publiek.
