De kerk dateert uit het einde van de 13de eeuw, wanneer Hoeke het knooppunt is van de Duitse handel in het Zwin. Het stemmige éénbeukige kerkje heeft een tongewelf.
Langs de buitenzijde vindt u nog een "schettekot".
