De gebouwen van de oude abdij van de cisterciënzers, gesticht in 1207 en rond 1215 overgebracht naar Jodoigne, dateren uit de 18de eeuw.
Ze werden in de revolutie verkocht en zijn grotendeels verwoest, met uitzondering van een van de vleugels van het abdissenkwartier.
De aangrenzende boerderij en abdijhoeve, opmerkelijke constructies uit de 18de eeuw, wisten ook te overleven. De schuur, een van de grootste van het land, biedt een indrukwekkend zicht op een immens geraamte dat op zuilen rust.
Het geheel werd omgevormd tot seminarie- en ontvangstcentrum met een theaterzaal.
