Rijkevorsel heeft een zeer merkwaardig volksgebruik. Op de nacht voor 1mei verzamelen de inwoners losse dingen in de voortuinen van Rijkevorsel. Die worden verzameld op het dorpsplein. Op 1 mei mogen de inwoners daar hun 'gestolen' stukken zoeken en terugnemen.
