Kleine, witte huisjes met de huisheilige in een nis boven de deur, gekasseide straten rond een gotische begijnhofkerk. Het begijnhof van Diest is één van de oudste, mooiste en best bewaarde van Europa. Kuier langs de Demer die opnieuw door de stad stroomt, met aan de oevers wandel- en fietspaden, toegangstrappen, terrassen en zelfs een vlonderpad over het water. Een groenblauw stukje waterbeleving door de historische stad.
