Wist je dat in Wevelgem aan de overkant van het kerkhof een (misleidend) vliegveld, met houten vliegtuigen lag tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog . En dat om de vijand te misleiden. Overblijfselen daarvan zijn nog een grote bunker en een kleine bunker aan de spoorweg.
