Wist je dat de Tilapia vis gekweekt wordt in een viskwekerij op het terrein van de kerncentrale van Tihange. Tilapia's zijn sinds enkele jaren ook in Europa zeer populair als consumptievis. Tilapia's stellen weinig eisen aan de waterkwaliteit, behalve een minimumtemperatuur van 20 graden Celsius. En die temperatuur heb je in het opgewarmde koelwater van de kerncentral van Tihange.
